chicken butt

what's up chicken butt? i am currently in the proccess of teaching maddi this hip phrase, i figure she might catch on quicker to this than to "whachyou talkin bout willis." and fyi i found out that if you read one person's blog, and they read another person's blog, that you can read about almost everyone you knew in high school! amazing huh? how come it took me this long to figure this out?!?! but every one i went to high school with is pretty much doing the same thing: being happily married, having beautiful babies, and going to school or working while putting their husbands through school. it's a good life here in god's country :) el kambrino's baptism is this saturday...it is CRAZY how fast it's gotten here. bart and i are goint to bring my mom's foreign exchange student chris with us...because he is bored out of his mind at her house and i don't blame him. katie's baby shower was this weekend and it went about as good as things involving any part of my mother's side of the family (well, primarily my mother,) can go. bart kept stevie and my brother entertained...ha ha...so that was good. i keep telling people, you have to get to know bart a little before you see the kooky side of him...but he is hilarious...seriously the funniest person of all time...and he's hott too, so he is just all around awesome! yay for me. stevie and i took mad-hatter to the dino park yesterday. i love that park, we always have fun, and maddi is always POOP-ed when we get home...so she cuddles mommy for about a half hour and then goes into a comatose state until the next morning. for as peaceful as she looks when she's out, she snores like a seventy eight year old man with kidney stones and psoriasis...it's bad. she's so loud that i have to wear ear plugs...and she's half way across the house! when she's older i'll warn potential suitors of this, "she's cute and smart and funny, but she snores like bear!" she will love me when she's older :) i am really supposed to be writing my extra credit papers for anatomy and physiology right now, but i really, really don't want to. so i am going to tell you this funny story instead...the jazz-nuggets game was almost over last night and i was getting ready to go to bed, when i get a call. it's my friend that i never see, so i answer...and she says...get on face book and look at this picture of so and so and tell me she's not on drugs...and i said i doubt so and so is on drugs, she is smarter than that...and i don't have a facebook, so i can't see it...and she says i'll email it to you and you tell me what you think...YOU STILL HAVEN'T EMAILED IT TO ME...and i highly doubt she is on drugs...but the moral of the story is that i have random friends, and they are funny. i am going to try to write my paper now...wish me luck! peace out river trout...kelly "kapow chicha wow wow ski"

nursing program

i got into the lpn program at ceu. :) bart and maddi and i are very, very happy about this. after i complete the lpn program (which starts the second summer semester...so june...and goes through fall and spring 2011), i will apply for the rn program at ceu. i was just so happy to get in my first try...if i hadn't gotten in i don't know what i would have done with myself! thanks everybody for your support and encouragement! i appreciate it more than you know. stay crack-a-lackin...kelly kapowski
